Dates are set for the February and March Des Moines Business Mixer events so you can mark your calendars ahead of time.

FEBRUARY: Tuesday, February 22 between 5:30 and 7:30pm please join us for the February edition of the Mixer. February will feature appetizers provided by Kelly Fagen with Tastefully Simple. I am especially looking forward to the Onion Onion sour cream dip! February will also feature two business speakers – to be announced soon!

MARCH: A special fundraising event for the Des Moines Social Club will replace the March edition of the Des Moines Business Mixer. Plan to attend: A Social Media Love/Hate Affair. The event, held March 19 from 3:00 to 7:00pm, will bring together leaders in the Des Moines Social Media scene who will speak on all subjects related to social media marketing and business. Some of the topics covered will be developing a social media strategy for small business; best practices in using social media professionally; tools and services to help leverage and manage social media efforts; what to look forward to in 2011 in Social Media related to small business and B2B marketing.
