Last week we showed you a new implementation of the Inspire Pay product using the off site gateway. Today, we’d like to show you a more embedded experience similar to Facebook Connect, but for payments.
Tikly, a ticketing service, went a step further and did a full implementation using the GRID API. This is important for a few reasons. Using the GRID API does a few things which is pretty darn important:
The user never leaves the marketplace site.
The marketplace never has access to banking information.
The marketplace receives the transfer instantly and can use Facilitator to split the fee with with the seller.
The user can revoke access to the marketplace after the payment is complete (unlike a credit card).
