The Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART) uses its real-time data to provide riders with a suite of online and mobile tools, including SMS text messages and a mobile app for tracking next bus information. DART recently released its real-time data on Google’s General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) – real-time open data format.
