BUSINESS EDUCATION/NETWORKING: SQUARE ONE DES MOINES JUNE STARTUP STORIES: The June Startup Stories event will take place Wednesday, June 21 from 11:30 –1 p.m. at the Greater Des Moines Partnership, 700 Locust St., Ste. 100 in Des Moines. Amy Vohs, Founder of Lil’ Sidekick, will be the guest speaker at the June Startup Stories event. Vohs will talk about her journey of getting Lil’ Sidekick into big box retailers and her experiences with bootstrapping. She will also focus on how to gain investors and how she uses the available resources in Iowa to grow and maintain her business. Admission is $15 (includes lunch) or free (without lunch).
